When Taylor Hackford’s Ray hit theatres in 2004, nobody was quite prepared for what Jamie Foxx delivered. His portrayal of Ray Charles wasn’t just a performance — it was a full-body transformation that left audiences and critics alike searching for superlatives. The result was one of the most celebrated biographical performances in Hollywood history — earning Foxx the Academy Award for Best Actor, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and a SAG Award in a sweep that silenced anyone who had ever doubted his dramatic range.

This 12×16 inch Custom Mat uses the iconic Ray movie poster art — Jamie Foxx at the piano, bathed in deep blue stage light, the image as timeless as the music it evokes — as the backdrop for a signed book page autograph from Foxx himself. That bevel-cut window draws your eye straight to the signature, anchoring a piece that bridges two worlds: the gritty, soulful legacy of Ray Charles and the extraordinary career of the actor who made a new generation fall in love with it all over again.
