We used a rare 1948 photograph in making this 12×16 inch Custom Mat capturing George H. W. Bush as a Yale student meeting baseball legend Babe Ruth at Yale University. At the time, Bush was a rising leader on campus—captain of the Yale baseball team and a future U.S. President—while Ruth stood as one of the most iconic figures in all of sports.
