On June 28, 1997, the world tuned in for the Tyson–Holyfield rematch — just seven months after Holyfield shocked the boxing world by taking Tyson’s WBA title. Billed as “The Sound and the Fury,” it was sold as Tyson’s redemption arc and Holyfield’s chance to cement his legacy. Instead, it became one of the most infamous moments in sports history.
The shock, the bite, the disqualification… it all turned a heavyweight title rematch into one of the most talked-about nights in boxing history. And now – North Collectors is proud to have crafted a custom matted display that has that night live on in a tangible, iconic way.
We’re proud to present this 18×28 inch framed display that is autographed by both Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. A museum piece that captures one of the most infamous nights the sport has ever seen.
This piece represents not just a signed display, but a reconciliation of two men and the recontextualization of a moment once considered too volatile to commemorate.
