Jack Kent Cooke, a prominent Canadian businessman who later became a well-known American sports owner, owned the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball team from 1951 to 1961.  Photo shows Cooke with some of his players, including Charley Grant, Lew Morton, and Frank Colman.
The Toronto Maple Leafs baseball club played its home games at Maple Leaf Stadium, located at the foot of Bathurst Street in Toronto. The team remained at this venue from its opening in 1926 until the 1967 season, when it moved to Louisville.
